Becoming a Member
The Cloverdale Seventh-day Adventist Church is a community of faith in which all are welcomed to participate in its worship services and fellowship. Many choose to deepen their level of commitment as well as personal involvement in ministries of the church, by becoming active members.
If you are looking for a church home...perhaps you are new to our community, we would love to welcome you into the membership of the Cloverdale SDA Church family!

There are 3 different ways you can become a member:
Baptism
The Seventh-day Adventist Church believes and practices baptism by immersion. For those who are beginning their walk with Jesus for the first time, or making a renewed commitment, baptism is a symbol of that new life in Christ and entrance into His church (Acts 2:38-47; Romans 6:1-4).
If you have never been baptized by immersion and would like to take that step, just call the church office or contact one of our pastors directly. A member of the pastoral team will meet with you, to guide you in preparation for this important event.
Profession of Faith
If you have already been baptized by immersion in another Christian denomination, you may become a member of the Cloverdale SDA Church by a simple declaration of your personal faith in Jesus Christ and a review of the fundamental beliefs.
You may begin that process by calling the church office or one of our pastors.
Membership Transfer
If you hold membership in another Adventist Church and wish to establish your membership at the Cloverdale SDA Church, you may do so by transferring your membership.
You may begin that process by calling the church office, or by completing the membership request in the bulletin and dropping it into the offering basket on Sabbath morning.
