The Idaho Conference has voted a NAD policy that all local volunteers be required to have background checks. We are already doing this with volunteers who work with children. This wider inclusion for all volunteers is an added measure for the safety of our children and, although requiring more involvement to maintain, is time and energy well spent. If you are renewing your screening (every three years), you may receive email reminder from ncsrisk directly (if you are over a year late, you may not receive these notices). If you have completed this process for another Adventist group (volunteering at BVAS or GSAA or another SDA church in the NAD) you do not need to complete the process again. Either add Cloverdale to your organizations, or let the church office know and we can ask the conference office to search for your name (the system does not automatically find you).
The Cloverdale church will cover all costs associated with the screenings.
